Transportation Links
Public transport within Leeds is run by the West Yorkshire Metro. There are two paid bus services running around the city as well as a FreeCity Bus which runs from 6.30am until 7.30pm. Leeds City train station is one of busiest in the United Kingdom outside of London with connections to many nearby towns and suburbs as well as national and international links.
In terms of nearby motorways, Leeds is well connected with the rest of the UK. There are motorways in all directions, including the M62 which runs east to west from Hull to Liverpool, the M1 which runs south to London and the A1(M) which goes north to Newcastle and Scotland.
Just outside of Leeds is the Leeds Bradford International Airport with over 65 destinations to mainland Europe and North Africa.
